TULSA - At least one shot was fired outside River Spirit Casino Sunday, breaking a glass window, casino officials said.
No one was injured, but as a precaution all casino-goers were asked to stay inside for about two hours, River Spirit Casino spokesman Bob Dimmick said.
"The safety of our patrons and our staff is our first and foremost concern," said General Manager Jerry Floyd.
Tulsa Police, Creek Nation Security and the FBI were on the scene to investigate, Floyd said.
So far, there are no suspects.
A witness told 2NEWS that the casino was very crowded at the time of the shooting.
"All of a sudden we heard this loud pop, it almost sounded like fireworks going off," said Deborah Berryman. "People started screaming and running away from the front door as the security came forward, toward the front door."
The casino reopened at 10:15 p.m.
