Green Country's seventh winter storm is moving through Monday.

The Tulsa Public Works Department says there is plenty of materials on-hand.

Four-thousand tons of salt, 3,700 tons of sand and 1,200 tons of salt and sand mixture is in the stockpiled right now.

So far this winter, the city has spent nearly $771-thousand on supplies and overtime in regards to clearing streets.

Paul Strizek says his department can take on more than just this upcoming storm despite the tight city budget, "We try to be careful and judicious with the dollars and with our resources as much as possible. But, the reality is we've got to get out there and provide safe roads for the emergency services, police fire and emsa and also the public."
