AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Whole Foods Market is recalling its mini-butter croissants.
The croissants, sold in six-pack plastic containers with a best by date of April 21 through April 23, were mislabeled. Whole Foods says the product contains eggs, an undeclared allergen.
The natural foods chain is only recalling croissants sold in its Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana stores.
The company has received one report of illness so far, but those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs could deal with an adverse or life-threatening reaction after eating the product.
