Schools accredited by the National Accrediting Commission for Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, participate in the US Department of Education's Federal Title IV Funding Programs which provide funds to assist you with your educational expenses.
Remember, you don't have to be disadvantaged to get financial assistance. Listed below are some of the programs available if you qualify:
PELL GRANTS - awards made by the Federal government based on individual student needs. See To Apply for Title IV Financial Aid below.
STAFFORD LOANS (GUARANTEED STUDENT LOANS) - loans based on individual need which you repay after completing your training. See To Apply for Title IV Financial Aid below.
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION - state operated program for vocationally handicapped students. Contact your local Vocational Rehabilitation office at www.okrehab.org
BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS - provides some financial assistance to students who are at least 1/4 Indian. Contact your tribal office.
VETERANS ADMINISTRATION - provides assistance through a variety of programs for eligible Veterans and their dependents. Contact the nearest Veteran's office at www.ok.gov/ODVA
