Volunteering in your community could be a health benefit.
A new study shows people who volunteer have a lower risk of dying early.
These people are also less likely to be depressed and reports show that they are more satisfied with their life.
Researchers suggest that this is a physical benefit because these people get out of the house more often.
It also provides mental health benefits by having social interaction with others.
