TULSA - Have you or your child ever been a victim of bullying?
According to recent reports, one in seven students in grades Kindergarten through 12 is either a bully or has been a victim of bullying.
So last week we went to Facebook and asked our fans if they or their child had ever been a victim of bullying.
You might be surprised to see the results.
We posted the question at 9 a.m. on October 25th and let it sit for 24 hours before collecting the results.
So how many responded that they had or that their child had been a victim of bullying? A little more than 86%. We also had a couple of our fans comment on the poll.
Aamu Tähden commented - But when I was a child we had tougher skin. You understood it was part of life, knew what was worth the pain and not and went on with life. Usually the one bullying had no importance whatsoever in my daily life so I ignored them.
Clayton Snead commented - but now im older and they will get theirs ;)
She didn't vote in our poll, but you can count 2News Problem Solver Michelle Lowry as a victim as well. She endured years of bullying as a child, saying she was teased, hit, scratched, pushed around and isolated during elementary and middle school. You can read about her experience on KJRH.com.
