Tulsa Food Guy makes beef tongue and noodles for Sunday Brunch

TULSA - Beef Tongue and Noodles

Ingredients:
1 Beef Tongue
1 Bag of Kluski Egg Noodles
Dried Basil (to taste)
Salt
Pepper

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and put the whole tongue in the water.  Let simmer for about 3-4 hours.  Remove tongue from water and cover in ice for 5-10 minutes.  Peel outer layer of skin off the tongue after it cools, and trim excess fat.
- Boil egg noodles in water for 20 minutes or until tender.  Season with basil, salt and pepper to taste.  Add water if/as needed to keep noodles from drying.
- Slice tongue into thin slices and add to noodles. 
- Serve while hot and don't tell tongue newbies what they are eating until after they try it!
