The 12th annual Food 2 Families food drive kicked off Friday, Nov. 30 at the KJRH station on Brookside.  All donations go to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

More than 17 percent of Oklahoma's statewide population is considered food insecure, leaving 664,890 Oklahomans and 244,050 children unsure where they will get their next meal.

Oklahoma ranks 10th in the nation among adults age 60 and older at risk of hunger.

Donors who visit 2 Works for You Friday, Nov. 30 to drop off donations for Food 2 Families will pick up some of these goodies.
