The Voice recap: final blind audition

Monday's episode of The Voice was one to remember for Oklahomans, especially Tulsans.

Tulsa native Adley Stump hit The Voice stage for the first time. Her rendition of "Last name" by another familiar artist to the state - Carrie Underwood - found favor with at least two judges.

Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton, of Ada, Okla., both pushed their buttons for Stump. In the end, Stump said she had to follow her heart.

"Blake, you're my guy," Stump said, choosing the "country" coach to pair with her vocals.

On our KJRH Facebook page , fans chimed in on their thoughts of the hometown Stump.

Kerry Caldwell-Crown wrote, "She rocks!!!!!!!!"

"Blake had to pick her. She's great!" Don L. Jones wrote.

"I like her," Linda Tyson commented, " sounds like cross of Reba and Janis Joplin."

One of the last performers to sing in the blind auditions, Stump completed coach Shelton's 12-person squad and will appear next in competition with her fellow teammates.

Several other performers joined The Voice's ranks Monday.

Whitney Myer started the night off by turning all four judges' chairs around. Singing "No Ohio," judge Adam Levine said the singer reminded him of Mary J. Blige. "You can win this whole thing," Levine told Myer.

Myer chose Levine.

The Shields Brothers of Rixeyville, Va. brought their rock'n'roll duo to Cee Lo Green's team. Singing Billy Idol's "Dancing with myself," The Shields Brothers impressed Green with their upbeat, throwback sound.

Lee Koch, a full-time baker, brought out a harmonica and guitar for "Like a rolling stone." Bob Dylan references aplenty, Christina Aguilera brought Koch into the fold, saying he was a great addition to her team.

"By you picking me, you're continuing my musical pursuit," Koch said.

Other singers who found teams:

Cheesa - Cee Lo Green

Lex Land - Blake Shelton

Orlando Napier - Adam Levine

Wade - Cee Lo Green

Sera Hill - Christina Aguilera

Several of our Facebook fans thought Sera Hill, who performed at the end of the program, was the best of the evening.

"I really liked the girl at the end that Cristina picked," wrote Kim Hunsaker.

"I liked the last girl," Jones commented.

" I enjoyed Adley's performance & the last girl that was chosen by Christina," Debbie Austin wrote.
