Tuesday's edition of The Voice featured the first live elimination of the show.
Six contestants performed -- only two lived to sing again.
America voted to determine who would hit the stage as the bottom six from Monday night. But this night was in the hands of coaches Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton.
For Team Blake, Naia Kete, Charlotte Sometimes and Jordis Unga found themselves competing to stay in the competition.
Shelton said the trio all sang well but ultimately gave the nod to Unga. The rocker toned down her Janis Joplin nature with a more reserved "Wild Horses" rendition. She will join the remaining three members of Team Blake.
On Team Christina, America placed Ashley De La Rosa, Sera Hill and Moses Stone in the bottom three.
De La Rosa continued with her forward momentum, singing Grace Potter and the Nocturnals' "Paris, Ooh la la." De La Rosa won Christina's favor -- she advances.
Next Monday, local product Jamar Rogers will take the stage for his first live performance. He has received rave reviews from all four coaches and appears to be a fan favorite thus far.
We'll see if he can continue his success next week.
The Voice appears every Monday at 7 p.m. and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
