Voice Recap: Jamar Rogers eliminated in show's semifinals, Juliet Simms advances

Tuesday brought the end of the road for four Voice contestants, none more shocking than Tulsa favorite Jamar Rogers.

With only eight singers left in the competition heading into Tuesday, Rogers faced teammate Juliet Simms in a battle to represent Team Cee Lo.

Cee Lo appeared proud of his final two members and told them their time on the show "revitalized him." Cee Lo then revealed his vote: 60 points to Simms, 40 to Rogers.

Combined with America's vote, the final result tallied 121-79 in favor of Simms.

Others to leave Tuesday's show: Lindsey Paveo, Erin Willett and Katrina Parker.

That means the remaining four contestants are Chris Mann, Tony Lucca, Jermaine Paul and Juliet Simms.

Rogers' song Monday: "If You Don't Know Me By Now."

Well, after his performance this season, America does.

The Voice will appear next Monday at 7 p.m. on NBC. Stay tuned to 2News and KJRH.com as we send our own Justin Wilfon to the final round.
