65th Annual Primetime Emmys: 'Saturday Night Live', '30 Rock' nominated for combined 28 Emmys

LOS ANGELES - The nominations are in for the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Aaron Paul of "Breaking Bad" and Neil Patrick Harris of "How I Met Your Mother" hosted the announcements Thursday, and Emmy history was made when an online show was nominated.

The Netflix series "House of Cards" received nine nominations in the best drama category, including best acting nods for Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

"American Horror Story: Asylum" received the most Emmy nominations with 17 while HBO's "Game of Thrones" got 16 nods, the most for any drama series.

"Saturday Night Live" and the Liberace movie, "Behind the Candelabra" each earned 15 nominations.

NBC's "30 Rock," which just wrapped up its final season, received 13 nominations, including best comedy series and best acting mentions for both Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

The 65th Emmy Awards will air Sept. 22 on CBS.
