TULSA - More than 10,000 runners will be trekking across Tulsa Sunday for the Route 66 Marathon. As a result, drivers can expect road closures and increased traffic in areas near the run.
Here are some helpful reminders.
Streets may be closed along the marathon's course until 3:30 p.m. Tulsa police will work to reopen city streets as quickly as possible once the final runners pass through.
No Parking Zones will be strictly enforced, so use extra caution when finding parking.
