Expect traffic delays into downtown Tulsa from south

TULSA - Expect delays along I-244 heading into downtown from the south.

A bridge on the southwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop is closed after being hit by a truck Monday.

There is no word on when the bridge will reopen.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews will continue to assess damage to the bridge Tuesday and begin to make repairs.

Eastbound drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

This affects traffic from west Tulsa heading downtown on I-244/75.

You might want to get off on Southwest Boulevard near 24th Street and then take Southwest Boulevard into downtown.

If you don't take that exit, the highway funnels into one lane just after Southwest Boulevard.

Once you cross the Arkansas River Bridge, you'll be diverted onto the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Then you can take several downtown exits including Highway 75 northbound.
