With OSU about to begin Big 12 Conference play, they got some news today they did not need. All-America Wide-out Dez Bryant has been ruled ineligible by the NCAA for not being open with investigators when asked about contact with a former NFL player not associated with OSU.
Byrant admitted his mistake in a written statement released by OSU, and apologized to his coaches, OSU fans and the NCAA.
Mike Gundy said it was a sad situation, but the team will move on.
OSU has appealed the ineligibilty.
The Pokes begin conference play at Texas AM. The game starts at 11:30am.
