OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Four-time defending state champion Union has been picked as the top team in Class 6A once again in The Associated Press' preseason high-school football poll.
Union was a unanimous No. 1 in the rankings released Monday.
Class 5A champion Guthrie and Class A champion Wayne were also picked to repeat, and Class 4A champ Wagoner tied for the preseason No. 1 spot with Clinton.
Tuttle got top billing in Class 3A, which saw 2011 champion Anadarko move up to 4A. Vian edged out defending champion Hennessey for the top spot in Class 2A, Laverne is No. 1 in Class B and Tipton took the top ranking in Class C.
Shattuck, which has won the Class C title seven of the past nine years, starts the season at No. 2.
