NEW YORK - Justin Blackmon just hit the jackpot.
The former Oklahoma State wide receiver was selected with the 5th pick in the first round by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He is the highest picked OSU wide receiver since Dez Bryant went 24th overall to the Dallas Cowboys in 2010.
In most of the mock drafts leading up to Thursday night's first round, Blackmon was projected as the 6th pick going to the St. Louis Rams and catching passes from former Oklahoma Sooner Sam Bradford.
He had a stellar 2011 season in Stillwater, finishing his junior season with 1,522 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns.
