After losing three running backs to transfer in 2011, Oklahoma Football could use some help at the position, and it's on the way.
At 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, with sprinters' speed, Ross fits the profile of an elite running back.
The Jenks native, committed to the Sooners more than a year ago, shortly after being offered a scholarship. He calls playing for the Sooners, a "dream come true."
The 4-Star prospect is a true game-breaking back. As a junior, he ran for 34 touchdowns and averaged an unreal 13.2 yards per carry.
Ross suffered multiple injuries in his senior season, limiting him to just 72 carries and keeping him from finishing the game in a one-point State Semifinal loss to Union.
That time away, has only made Ross hungrier to get on the field and make an impact in Norman, right away.
