TULSA - Rotnei Clarke, a former high school basketball standout from Verdigris has decided to transfer from the University of Arkansas.
Clarke averaged 15.1 points per game in his three years with the Razorbacks under then head coach John Pelphrey.
Pelphrey was fired March 13 after four seasons.
But with just one year of eligibilty remaining, Clarke has decided to pursue other schools instead of playing for new Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson.
Clarke will have to sit out next season, unless he transfers to a lower division or the NAIA.
