AMES, Iowa (AP) -- Iowa State's season opener against Tulsa has been moved from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Cyclones say the time change was made at the behest of Fox Sports Net and the Big 12.

The move is expected to give the Sept. 1 matchup at Jack Trice Stadium more exposure on Fox Sports Net, which is broadcasting the game.

The Golden Hurricane return to Tulsa the following week to face conference foe Tulane. It's the first of three straight home games before hitting the road to UAB.
