NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Suspended defensive tackle Stacy McGee has been reinstated and should play for No. 8 Oklahoma on Saturday night against No. 5 Notre Dame.

McGee had been held out for the first six games of the season, but coach Bob Stoops said Monday he'd be allowed to play against the Fighting Irish (7-0).

Stoops says McGee has been practicing with the scout team during his suspension and there's no reason he wouldn't be ready to play Saturday night.

McGee played in 12 games for the Sooners (5-1) last season and started three times.
