OU Sooners football player Elijah Sigler transfers to Oklahoma Baptist University

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma Baptist University officials say University of Oklahoma football player Elijah Sigler is transferring from OU to OBU.
OBU said in a news release that Sigler will be a sophomore this fall.
Sigler was an All-District cornerback at Frisco High School. He said in the news release that Nyko Symonds helped influence his decision to transfer to OBU.
Symonds is a former Sooner who also transferred to OBU.
