NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Two Oklahoma Sooners have been selected to the pre-season All-Big 12 team as voted on by media representatives who cover the league.
The team announced Wednesday includes OU cornerback Aaron Colvin and center Gabe Ikard.
Both Colvin and Ikard were All-Big 12 first team selections in 2012 by The Associated Press and in the coaches poll.
Colvin was credited with a team-leading 11 pass breakups in 2012 and had four interceptions. Ikard has played in 39 games -- starting 37 -- on the OU offensive line and is a two-time All-Big 12 first team selection.
