The Oklahoma Sooners football program has a long tradition of winning, but according to Pollspeak.com, they're the most overrated team in the country in recent years.
The website released their list of the top five overrated and underrated college football teams from 2008-2012 Monday. The list was based off of where teams started in preseason poll rankings and where they ultimately finished.
The Sooners have a record of 52-15 over the past five seasons for an average of 10.4 wins per year. Most programs would be ecstatic over that record, but during that stretch the Sooners have only finished one season ranked higher than their preseason position.
The university's worst drop came during the 2009 season which saw the Sooner's fall from number three in
the polls to 26.
