The coaching carousel ride that included Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy appears to have come to an end as multiple reports state the Pokes' head coach will remain in Stillwater.
According to CBSSports.com, Gundy was offered the Tennessee job Wednesday morning and turned it down later in the day to stay at OSU.
Our Scripps newspaper in Knoxville also reported Wednesday that Gundy is negotiating to stay in Stillwater.
The newspaper cited OSU football sideline reporter Robert Allen about Gundy returning to his alma mater. Their report also says that Louisville head coach Charlie Strong is also negotiating to stay with the Cardinals.
Gundy was linked to the Arkansas head coaching vacancy until the Razorbacks made the surprise hire of Brett Bielema from Wisconsin on Tuesday.
