STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State has hired Wyoming's Jason Ray to coach OSU's receivers.

Coach Mike Gundy announced Ray's hiring on Thursday.

Ray is a Porter, Okla., native who spent the past four years at Wyoming. He coached the UW running backs his first three seasons in Laramie before taking over their receiving corps in 2012.

Ray has a marketing degree from Missouri and was a receiver for the Tigers from 2003 through 2007. Prior to joining the staff at Wyoming, Ray was a development associate with the Tiger Scholarship Fund.

Gundy says Ray is an enthusiastic coach who brings energy to the staff.
