STILLWATER, Okla. - "Come after me! I'm a man! I'm 40! I'm not a kid!"
The "kid" Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy was referring to, is now a man - employed by Oklahoma State.
OSU hired former Cowboys quarterback Bobby Reid for a non-coaching position.
It was during the 2007 season when Gundy's rant went viral.
His team had just beaten the Texas Tech Red Raiders when during his post-game press conference he defended Reid.
He responded to a newspaper article that examined the demotion of Reid, who was the starting quarterback to second string.
Gundy felt the article was critical of Reid and took aim at the reporter who wrote the story.
Reid started 18 games for the Cowboys but left the program after the 2007 season.
