OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police are investigating after two people were stabbed outside of Chesapeake Energy Arena as an Oklahoma City Thunder game was ending.
Authorities say a man who works for a company that cleans the arena got into an argument with his girlfriend Tuesday night and a passerby intervened to protect the woman. Both men suffered stab wounds in the altercation.
Police tell Oklahoma City television station KOKH (http://is.gd/6cm7tV ) that the passerby was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Authorities say the man who works for the cleaning crew was taken into police custody with injuries that aren't life-threatening.
Police say the altercation happened at Reno and Robinson avenues -- adjacent to the arena and the Cox Convention Center.
The Thunder beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-105 in Tuesday's game.
