TULSA - Three people are in custody after a police pursuit through Mohawk Park Sunday afternoon.
Tulsa Police Capt. Karen Tipler said police received a call of a possible fight between two groups at the park around 4:30 p.m.
Once police arrived, three men entered a vehicle and left the scene, Tippler said.
The pursuit went through the park and ended near 32nd and North Lewis, where the car finally rolled to a stop after the tires had been deflated with tire spikes, Tipler said.
The three men inside the vehicle surrendered without incident.
Police found an assault rifle in the vehicle, Tipler said.
The three men will likely face possession of an assault rifle and eluding police charges.
The investigation is still ongoing and police are looking to see whether or not the incident was gang related.
