EL RENO, Okla. (AP) -- Rebecca Bryan says an intruder killed her fire chief husband and a jury is to decide whether to accept her account or that of prosecutors, who say Bryan was the killer.
Testimony is to resume Monday in El Reno in Bryan's trial. She's accused of killing Keith Bryan last year. Her husband died from a gunshot wound to the head. Prosecutors say Rebecca Bryan had an affair in 2009 and her marriage never recovered.
The Oklahoman reports Rebecca Bryan claims a man came into her home, claimed her husband should have hired him, and fatally shot the chief.
Prosecutors say Rebecca Bryan used a gun that was found in a clothes dryer in the home, along with a latex glove and other items connected to the crime.
