POTEAU, Okla. (AP) -- The LeFlore County sheriff says a 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of his father.
Sheriff Rob Seale says Tim Lockaby was arrested Saturday night in the Friday killing of 87-year-old Buck Lockaby.
The Southwest Times Record reports that Buck Lockaby was found dead in the backyard of the home he shared with his son. The sheriff says Buck Lockaby's cause of death remains under investigation but says firearms weren't involved.
An autopsy is planned for Monday.
Tim Lockaby is being held in the LeFlore County jail. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
