DEWEY COUNTY, Okla. - Officials have closed a section of highway in western Oklahoma for slick road conditions.
U.S . Highway 270 is shut down between Seiling and Watonga after an incline became increasingly slippery.
Crews are treating the road with salt and sand.
Workers have removed several cars that became stuck in ditches.
A Dewey County sheriff's dispatcher reports several cars slipped off the hilly road but no injuries have been reported in that county.
In Roger Mills County, authorities report at least two injuries from accidents on the slick roads.
