OOLOGAH, Okla. - A 23-month-old boy drowned early Saturday morning near Oologah in Rogers County.
Troopers from the marine division of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the grandmother of Cutter Emmons was babysitting when she noticed the child was missing from the yard. The grandmother found the boy face down in a pond.
The grandmother and another adult in the home began performing CPR before emergency crews arrived, but the child was pronounced dead at a local hospital, officials say.
