MAYES COUNTY, Okla. - A Pryor man is facing charges for sodomy and molestation nearly a decade after the crimes allegedly occurred.
Tyler Langston, 25, was charged June 13 with forcible sodomy and lewd molestation dating back to October 2003.
According to court documents, Langston was 15 when he threatened an 8-year-old girl with a knife to force her to perform oral sex on him. Langston also allegedly touched the girl in her private areas.
A spokesman for the Mayes County District Attorney's Office said although Langston was a juvenile at the time they expect to request him sentenced as an adult.
If convicted Langston could be sentenced anywhere from two years in prison to life.
