PERRY, Okla. - Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say alcohol was the cause of a Payne County accident which left one man dead early Friday morning.
Officials say 34-year-old Erick Hall, of Ripley, was driving west on County Road 68 in Payne County when the pickup he was driving left the road, struck an embankment and rolled 1/4 times, coming to a rest on the passenger side. Hall was partially ejected and pinned for about 2 hours. He died at the scene.
There were no passengers in the pickup.
