OSU student reports rape, students asked to take precautions

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State University police are investigating a reported rape that happened at a Stillwater apartment complex.
The victim, an OSU student, told police the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
Students received text messages, social media updates and email from the school on Friday night asking them to remain vigilant and take extra precautions, like avoiding dimly lit areas and walking alone.
The victim said the suspect threatened her with a pocket knife and followed her to her room.
