OSBI agents say they have arrested a 21-year-old Cordell man for making threats to carry out a school shooting in Cordell.
Officials at The Washita County Sheriff's Office asked OSBI agents to assist in an investigation of threats to "shoot up the school" on an internet chat board earlier this week.
OSBI investigators say they identified the suspect as Christopher Thomason of Cordell. Thomason was arrested and booked into the Washita County jail on Friday.
Thomason faces two counts of Terrorism Hoax and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act -- all felony complaints.
Officials say Thomason once attended high school in Cordell.
