Oklahoma State University suspends ex-Farmhouse fraternity member Cochran accused of sexual assaults

STILLWATER, Okla. - An Oklahoma State University student and former fraternity member has been suspended for three years for sexual misconduct.

In a statement issued Tuesday evening, the university explained Nathan Cochran violated OSU's code of conduct four times.

OSU's Daily O'Collegian first reported Monday about an anonymous email they received accusing a former FarmHouse fraternity member of 10 sexual assaults, occurring on campus and elsewhere.

In the release, the university said during an internal investigation it met with five alleged victims, none of which opted to contact police.

“The university’s thoughts are with the students involved and OSU appreciates the cooperation of the students who brought allegations forward,” read the statement.

According to Stillwater police, all of the alleged victims are men.

Under the suspension, Cochran is banned from the university as of Dec. 14 and may not have any contact with any of the alleged victims. OSU also stated none of Cochran's accusers are minors.

Cochran is listed as OSU's Interfraternity Council secretary for 2011-2012.

Tuesday, OSU FarmHouse chapter president Nick Jordan said Cochran is "no longer associated" with the organization.

Stillwater police are investigating the allegations. No arrest has been made.
