GOODWELL, Okla. (AP) -- The board that oversees Oklahoma State University has approved design and construction of a new $28 million Spears School of Business Building.
Regents meeting in Goodwell gave the nod on Friday to a project that will replace a facility that has been in use for nearly 50 years. Officials say the current building is inadequate for present and future needs of the college at the Stillwater campus.
The new center will have 200,000 square feet, which will double the size of the building now in use. It will be outfitted with two auditoriums, business incubators and other facilities that will encourage cross-disciplinary interaction among faculty and students.
