VERA, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Owasso man is dead after he jumped from a moving vehicle after getting into an argument with the driver.

Authorities say 30-year-old Lei Yang was teaching 31-year-old Shuang Xue how to drive when the incident happened Sunday afternoon on a county road in Washington County.

The highway patrol says the pair got into an argument and Yang apparently jumped from the moving sport utility vehicle.

Authorities say Yang struck his head on the ground and was pronounced dead at the scene.
