OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Gov. Mary Fallin has advised that her Twitter account has been hacked.

The governor posted a message Thursday night advising readers of the hack and asking them to disregard several earlier tweets.

The unauthorized messages have since been deleted. Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports (http://is.gd/Vd8bGE ) some unusual photos were sent under Fallin's name, along with a quotation from Dr. Seuss.

The station reports it isn't known who was behind the hack.
