FARRIS, Okla. - Highway Patrol troopers say alcohol was a factor in a wreck involving four Oklahoma teens near Farris in Atoka County.

Officials say Dalton Long, 18, was eastbound on a county road at a high rate of speed while racing another vehicle.  Dalton's car hydroplaned, causing it to run off the roadway, overturn and submerge upside down in a creek.

An 18-year-old passenger was pinned in the front seat for around 10 minutes until she was freed by the occupant of another vehicle which stopped to help.

She was transported to Tulsa and treated for head and internal injuries.  She remains in critical condition.

Two 16-year-old girls were also in the car but were uninjured.

Long refused treatment at the scene.
