OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the eastbound Interstate 44 ramp to southbound Interstate 235 in Oklahoma City is closed due to flooding.
ODOT said Saturday that the ramp is expected to remain closed throughout the afternoon.
Heavy rain began falling in Oklahoma City about 7 a.m. and Wiley Post Airport reports 1.7 inches of rainfall on the north side of the city where the interchange is located. The area is where the interchange is undergoing a reconstruction project.
