MIAMI, Okla. - An Oklahoma man was arrested after police say he shot another man at a Miami, Okla. home Sunday.
Noah Shields was taken into custody just after 5 p.m. in Montgomery County, Kansas after fleeing Miami, according to a Miami Police Department press release.
Police responded to a shooting call at a residence in the 200 block of J St. Northwest around 1 p.m.
When police arrived, they found Stoney Sisco with multiple gunshot wounds to his back and legs, police said.
Police say Shields went to Sisco's home looking for his wife and daughter but when Sisco told him they were not inside, Shields went to his car and grabbed a shotgun and shot at Sisco.
SIcsco was transported to a Joplin, Mo. hospital in stable condition.
