Much of Latimer, McIntosh and Pittsburg County experienced telephone outages Thursday after a fiber optic cable was cut.
AT&T officials say someone else cut the cable, causing the counties to lose service to landline phones, cellphones and the Internet.
The outage knocked out 911 service for much of those counties Thursday afternoon and evening.
Authorities in Pitsburg, McIntosh and Latimer counties say all communications were restored by 11 p.m.
