MUSKOGEE, Okla. - A man suspected of being an accomplice to a deadly shooting at a Green Country mall copped a deal with prosecutors Wednesday.
Augusta Parker, 26, pleaded guilty Wednesday to harboring a fugitive.
Prosecutors say Parker helped Dondray Fowler, now 21, after Fowler went on a shooting rampage April 10, 2010, at Muskogee's Arrowhead Mall, killing 17-year-old Jerrod Reed and injuring five other people.
Prosecutors say Reed and Fowler were among separate groups that were walking toward each other inside Arrowhead Mall and flashing gang signs when the shooting started.
Fowler's charges include first-degree murder and various other crimes.
Parker's charge carries with it a 10-year-sentence, minus time served, plus court costs.
