KELLYVILLE, Okla. - A family is safe following an overnight fire that destroyed a Kellyville home.
According to officials, at around 3 a.m. Wednesday firefighters called in from both Kellyville and Sapulpa arrived to the scene located west of State Highway 33 to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
Officials said smoke detectors woke up the family inside and the two adults and two children were able make it out safely. They are staying with family members. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
Crews said the home is a total loss.
