WILBURTON, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man is dead after crashing his all-terrain vehicle in Latimer County.

Authorities say the crash happened early Monday in Wilburton. The highway patrol says 41-year-old Christopher Holiday of Wilburton was driving on Pleasant Hill Road when he crashed into an embankment.

Authorities say Holiday was ejected 15 feet from the ATV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say Holiday was not wearing a helmet.
