GROVE, Okla. - Drug task force agents shut down a convenience store near Grove Thursday that was believed to be selling a product that put several people in the hospital.
Members of the District 13 and 27 Drug Task Forces along with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics raided "Gitter Done," a convenience store just north of Grove.
Officials say they found 3,000 packets of synthetic marijuana, and although a number of young people have been hospitalized over the past year the store continued to sell it.
Investigators say the synthetic product is potpourri sprayed with chemicals and it's meant to mimic the effects of marijuana, but several people who have smoked it have suffered vomiting, seizures and even heart attacks.
No one was arrested during the bust.
