OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Sooners are ranked No. 4 and the Oklahoma State Cowboys No. 19 in The Associated Press college football preseason poll.
OU was 10-3 last season and finished the year ranked No. 16. The Cowboys were 12-1 a season ago and ended the year ranked No. 3.
The Sooners received one first place vote in the poll in which USC is ranked No. 1 -- followed by defending national champion Alabama and LSU.
